First Fridays at the Farm!! - Start your weekend off right with First Fridays at the Farm! Meet friends and come enjoy the community spirit at Greenbank Farm. The Wine Shop and Tasting Room will offer a new wine maker (TBD) for an exciting evening of wine discussion and cheese pairings. Peruse the shops and new art, taste a new wine while contemplating the next antique purchase and treat your self to dinner out at Whidbey Pies Cafe. Shops will remain open until 8pm and the cafe, which closes at 4pm, will re-open from 5:30-8:30pm to serve a 4-course dinner featuring a new local chef every month, be sure to save room for pie! 16-18  Sweetheart Wine & Chocolate Tasting & Art Market Wine and chocolate tasting will be featured throughout the weekend at the Greenbank Farm Market inside the historic 1904 Barn. The event is scheduled from 10am-5pm on February 16-18. Bring your sweetheart and experience the varieties of wine and chocolate, as you taste wines of the Puget Sound area paired with truffles, Belgian chocolates and fudge. Stroll through the market of handcrafts, art photography and gourmet foods created by local artisans to find special gifts for your Valentine. Enjoy the charming atmosphere of the market in the barn making your visit to the farm a sweet destination. First Fridays at the Farm!! -Start your weekend off right with First Fridays at the Farm! Meet friends and come enjoy the community spirit at Greenbank Farm. Don't miss out on this tasting at the Greenbank Farm Wine Shop and Tasting Room with owner and winemakers Yvonne Swanberg and Tim Judkins of San Juan Vineyards. They will be pouring a wonderful selection of their Island wine in our fun, casual environment. We will also be featuring local artist, Randy Emmons. Enjoy wine, cheese, great art and receive 10% off any purchases in the wine shop this evening only. 15-16  Antique and Collectible Show - A popular annual event that brings18 dealers to the Main Barn and loft. You'll find just what you are looking for plus more from this incredibly diverse inventory of goods. The sale runs from 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-3:30pm Sunday.
22-23  Whidbey Garden Faire - Spring is in the air and garden time is on the mind! Visit with Whidbey Island landscapers, nurseries and garden artists. Begin dreaming and planning your garden room. Get ideas for your patio container, garden and flower bed highlights. The Garden Faire is a one day event held inside the barn from 10am-5pm on Saturday. 22-23  EASTER EGG HUNT!- You're invited to participate in the Whidbey Garden Faire at Greenbank Farm.  The 1904 historic barn will be filled with vendors and community members who have a passion for gardening.  They will be providing education, plants, crafts, gifts and gardening tips that will help you plan and accessorize your own gardens.  We will also be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on the day of the Faire as well as Easter Sunday from 12pm-1pm. There will be an easier hunt for the little ones and a more difficult hunt for the big kids.  Light treats available for purchase to add to the festivities! The adjacent wine tasting room, café, and additional businesses are open during these same hours.  Bring the family and share in on the fun at your farm. See you there!

Which Student Artist will Win! Join us in the 1904 historic barn to get a "sneak peek" of the art work featured in AAUW Art Show and Fundraiser on Saturday, May 3rd.  A panel of selected local artist will choose one young artist's work to be the official artwork of the 2008 Loganberry Festival! Rob Shouten's NEW Gallery Opening - On Friday May 2nd, Rob and Victory Schouten will officially open the doors to their brand new gallery at Greenbank Farm. The 870-sq. ft. ROB SCHOUTEN GALLERY, located in building C at the historic Farm, will become the primary showcase for the paintings and prints of the well-known artist.

Besides exhibiting Schouten’s work the gallery will focus on showing the work of established artists working in painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture, with a special emphasis on realism, magic realism, surrealism, and art of a spiritual and Earth loving nature. The gallery's inaugural exhibition will feature the work of artist/owner Rob Schouten and Pt. Angeles ceramic artist Gayle Lutchg.  More Info

26-27 LOGANBERRY FESTIVAL - The Farm's annual wine tasting, music and art extravaganza! The field is filled with artists, artisans, and craftspeople while local musicians entertain. PROST! PROST! PROST! OKTOBERFEST Fundraiser at the Farm! - Come and support the Farm at the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest fundraiser. Enjoy "wünderbar" German Bier and Wine with German fare including authentic bratwurst and pretzels. Top notch entertainment will be rocking the Old Red Barn! Dance, eat, drink and be merry with German Polkas, genuine Paulaner Bier Steins, accordion music, family fun and an adult bier stube. Greenbank Farm staff, board and volunteers will be donning their lederhosen and dirndls' at this event which will raise funds for the continued preservation of the Farm.  Tickets $15 adults/$8 children (under age 5 free) includes cover charge and authentic German food.
