The Whidbey Island Greenbank Farm provides a unique setting for celebrations of all kinds.
Indoor Facilities:
Attached to wine shop is the Main Barn, a large and light-filled
space that once housed the farm's dairy cows barn but now serves
as a gathering space. The barn has hosted a variety of events:
craft fairs, weddings, photography and art shows, public meetings,
private receptions, dance lessons, choral performances, gardening
lectures, and even a Tibbetan sacred sand mandala creation by
visiting monks.
On a smaller scale, the Jim Davis House also serves as a gathering
site for classes, workshops, and community meetings. Formerly
the Farm Manager's residence, this historic home offers a full
kitchen, bathroom, and 30-foot Front Room opening onto a 30-foot
Front Porch facing wetlands, Saratoga Passage, and the Cascade
Mountain Range. There is also a smaller meeting room for conducting interviews, small meetings or gatherings adjacent to the kitchen which offers a flexible temporary office space for use by the community. The serene natural setting offers a unique retreat
for you or your group.
Outdoor Facilities:
The Whidbey Island Greenbank Farm comprises 522 acres of fields,
forest and wetlands preserved for the enjoyment of all. Festivals,
barbeques, weddings, walks through the fields and forests, wetland bird watching,
picnics on the lawns around the pond, antique auto shows and athletic events are just
some of the ways this land has served the public. Picnic lawns
around the Farm Reflecting Pond.
